Speech and/or language therapy helps your child improve articulation, the way we say sounds, receptive language, how we understand and process information, expressive language, which includes vocabulary, grammar, utterance/sentence length, and functional communication, as well as pragmatic language, the way we socially use verbal and nonverbal cues to communicate and engage with peers and caregivers.
Dyslexia intervention is appropriate for children with or without a formal diagnosis; all struggling readers would benefit from support! Intervention incorporates systematic, multi-sensory instruction to improve your child's phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
